SoFar

About

How many days until the wedding? How long since you quit? When does Mom turn 65? SoFar answers at a glance, and shows your year as 365 dots. Widgets are free.

COUNT DOWN TO IT

A marathon, a trip, an exam, a launch, the last day of school. Add the date and SoFar counts the days left, one dot for each. Reminders 30, 7 and 1 day before, and on the day, or any day you choose, at the hour you choose. Already in your calendar? Pick upcoming events from Calendar and bring them in.

COUNT THE DAYS SINCE

Smoke-free, sober, since the move, since you met. Every morning the number grows by one. Milestones at 100, 365 and 1000 days, if you want them.

BIRTHDAYS THAT COME BACK

Add a birthday once, with the year, or bring them in from Contacts, ticking the ones you want. Each one returns every year, tells you the age, and reminds you a week before. Mom turns 65 in 72 days.

GOALS AGAINST TIME

12 books this year, 50 runs, 1000 km. Put a target on a countdown and see whether you are ahead of the time already gone, or behind. With SoFar+.

YOUR YEAR, ONE DOT A DAY

365 dots: the days lived are lit, today glows, the rest waits. A ring for the percentage, the days left as a number. It updates at midnight, and when you come back the missed days light up one by one. Hide it if you only want your events.

YOUR LIFE, ONE DOT A WEEK

A dot for every week of your life: 52 to a row, one row per year of age, up to 80 or the age you choose. The weeks lived are lit, the others wait. At 30, that is 1,560 weeks behind you, out of 4,160. With SoFar+.

SORTED BY WHAT MATTERS

Birthdays, work, personal, travel, health. Your events sit in sections you can fold, so the screen shows what you came for.

WIDGETS, FREE FOR EVERYONE

Home Screen in three sizes, Lock Screen, StandBy. For the year, for any event you pick, or as a list of what comes next: every event, or one category, birthdays only for instance. Never behind a paywall.

YOUR DATES FOLLOW YOU

With SoFar+, your events are on every iPhone signed in to your iCloud account. They go through your own iCloud: SoFar has no server.

YOUR COLOURS, DOWN TO THE ICON

Three colour themes are free. SoFar+ opens all 18, five of them for occasions (Halloween pumpkins, Christmas trees, hearts…), each with an app icon to match. Any grid becomes a square image for your stories, in your colours.

WHAT IS FREE

Year progress, 3 events (imported ones count), 3 colour themes, every widget, reminders, sharing, and import from Contacts and Calendar. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your dates stay on your iPhone, and in your own iCloud only if you turn on sync.

SOFAR+

Unlimited events, all 18 themes and their app icons, goal tracking, your life in weeks and iCloud sync. SoFar+ Monthly: $2.99 per month. SoFar+ Yearly: $19.99 per year, with 7 days free first, then $19.99 per year. SoFar+ Lifetime: $29.99 once. Prices in US dollars; the app shows your local price. All three include Family Sharing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Nothing is removed if you stop: your events stay on your iPhone, and sync simply pauses.
