The widget shows an old day

Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own schedule. SoFar prepares a week of updates in advance so the day changes at midnight even when iOS is late, and opening the app refreshes every widget at once.

How the days are counted

A countdown counts the days from today to the date; on the day itself it reads zero. Days since counts the days from the date to today. A birthday counts to its next occurrence, and a 29 February falls on the 28th in years without one. Dates are calendar days, so they read the same in every time zone.

I lost SoFar+ and my events

Nothing is removed when a subscription ends. All your events stay visible and editable; only creating a fourth one asks for SoFar+ again. Premium colour themes fall back to Rice Paper. Use Restore purchases on the SoFar+ screen after reinstalling.

Managing a subscription

Subscriptions live in your Apple account: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops renewal at the end of the current period.

Reminders do not arrive

Check that notifications are allowed for SoFar in iOS Settings, and that Focus modes do not silence them. Reminders fire at the hour set in the app Settings, 9 in the morning by default.
