Sobright · last updated 7 September 2026

Sobright collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting, and no network request of any kind beyond the App Store itself.

What stays on your device

The subject you follow, the days you mark, your notes and your reminder time are stored in a file on your iPhone, shared only with the Sobright widgets on that same iPhone. Nobody else can read it, and deleting the app deletes it.

What you write

The word you choose for your subject and the lines you may add to a day are yours. They are never sent anywhere, never analysed, and never shown to anyone. Sobright has no community and no AI.

Notifications

The evening reminder is scheduled locally by iOS, on your device. No notification server is involved. Answering from the notification writes to the same local file.

Sharing

When you share your year as an image, the image is rendered on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. It shows the year and the number of sober days, not the subject. Where it goes next is your choice; Sobright never sees it.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details, no name and no email address. The app asks Apple whether Sobright+ is active and gets back yes or no.

Health

Sobright is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. It counts days. It does not read or write Apple Health.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page changes first and the app's App Store privacy labels change with it. A version that collected data would say so here before it shipped.
