A task that repeats every N days counts from the last time you marked it done, or from the start date you gave when you created it. A task on fixed dates (winter tires, a yearly inspection from a first date) keeps its calendar whatever day you marked it. A task by counter uses your readings: Inorder measures your pace over the last six months and predicts the day the target is reached; with fewer than two readings it shows what is left instead of a date. When a task has two schedules, the earliest wins.
Open the Done sheet and change the date: any past day is accepted. The countdown restarts from that day. A future day cannot be marked.
Check that notifications are allowed for Inorder in iOS Settings, and that Focus modes do not silence them. Reminders fire at the time set in Settings, 9 in the morning by default, on the due day and then three and seven days later while the task is not done. A task with no date (no schedule, or a counter without readings) sends nothing.
Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own schedule. Inorder prepares a week of updates in advance so the day changes at midnight even when iOS is late, and opening the app refreshes every widget at once. Marking a task done from the widget refreshes them too.
Your normal iPhone backup carries everything, photos included. You can also import the backup file from your iCloud Drive: Settings, Backup, Import a copy. Importing replaces what is on the phone; it is meant for a fresh install.
Nothing is removed when a subscription ends. All your items, tasks, entries and photos stay visible and editable; only adding a sixth active item, the PDF logbook, new photos and premium themes ask for Inorder+ again. Premium colour themes fall back to Slate Blue. Use Restore purchases on the Inorder+ screen after reinstalling.
Subscriptions live in your Apple account: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. Cancelling there stops renewal at the end of the current period.
Every preset is a recommendation taken from manuals and public standards, and every task can be edited. Hard water shortens descaling intervals; heavy use shortens filter intervals. If a source is plainly wrong, write to us with the manual page and we will fix the library.
