Inorder · last updated 16 September 2026

Inorder collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting, and no network request of any kind beyond the App Store and your own iCloud Drive.

What stays on your device

Your items, their tasks, every entry you mark done, your counter readings, costs, notes and photos are stored in a file on your iPhone, shared only with the Inorder widgets on that same iPhone. Nobody else can read it.

The backup

Inorder writes a copy of that file to the Inorder folder of your own iCloud Drive, or to its Documents folder on the phone when iCloud is off. It is your file: you can open it in Files, export it, import it on another iPhone. We never see it. Photos stay on the phone and follow your normal iPhone backup.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally by iOS, on your device. No notification server is involved. Marking a task done from the notification writes to the same local file.

Photos and the label scanner

Photos you attach are copied into the app container. Reading the text of an appliance label happens on the device with Apple Vision; the image is never uploaded.

The PDF logbook

The logbook is rendered on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice; Inorder never sees it.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive no payment details, no name and no email address. The app asks Apple whether Inorder+ is active and gets back yes or no.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page changes first and the app's App Store privacy labels change with it. A version that collected data would say so here before it shipped.
